eWoman Groups

eWoman Groups - Meet • Share • Learn

eWoman GrpseWoman Groups is an exciting new initiative aimed at promoting wellbeing and development of women. eWoman Groups are supportive forums, built on trust, where like-minded women meet to share experiences, and learn strategies to promote their own wellbeing. eWoman Groups are facilitator-led groups where women can deal with their real life issues and move forward. To achieve this, women in the group will work through a series of programmes including the Overcoming Emotional Baggage programme based on the inspiring, coaching book, Overcoming Emotional Baggage: A Woman's Guide To Living The Abundant Life, with the help of a group facilitator. As a result of being part of an eWoman Group, we believe women will be in a better position to maximise their potentials and live effectively.

Why The Need For eWoman Groups?

From our experience, there are several barriers that hinder people from living effective and successful lives. One of these barriers is emotional clutter in the form of unhealthy, incorrect and self-defeating mindsets. These heavily influence your decisions, actions and hence your outcomes. Another barrier to your success is the lack of the necessary support mechanisms to help you reach your goal. Therefore, eWoman Groups aims to tackle both these barriers. Our groups help women grow by providing a safe, trusting and supportive environment where they can learn and share experiences.

Benefits Of Joining An eWoman Group?

We foresee the following to be some of the benefits that members will get from being part of an eWoman Group.

  • Members have a forum to express themselves and be heard
  • Members take personal ownership in their emotional wellbeing
  • Members learn powerful principles, strategies and ideas to maintain their emotional wellbeing
  • Members become more self-aware
  • Members learn from other members’ unique experiences
  • Members gain valuable support from the group
  • Members get regular time for their personal development

An Overview Of How eWoman Groups Work

Each group will have a facilitator for the simple purpose of managing the group and facilitating the group meetings. With the support of the facilitator, the group will decide how they want to operate i.e. how, when and where they will meet, etc. Once the group has been established, the next step is to register the group on our website (see our free guides below). Once we have confirmed the groups registration, the group can start meeting.

The group facilitator will then acquire the necessary resources to use within the group. To start with, all eWoman Groups will work through the Overcoming Emotional Baggage programme based on the book, Overcoming Emotional Baggage: A Woman’s Guide To Living The Abundant Life (Gladys Famoriyo). Both facilitators and group members will need a copy of the book.

Further eWoman Group resources will be made available. To be kept up-to-date with our services and products, please sign up here to receive our free eWoman e-newsletter.

Facilitator Resources And Toolkits

To assist eWoman Group facilitators in running effective groups, we have created some easy-to-use facilitator resources.

  • eWoman Group facilitator toolkit: Running an effective group - This practical toolkit provides facilitators with everything they need to know about starting and running an effective eWoman Group. This resource is highly recommended for all facilitators as it covers topics such as planning and designing a new eWoman Group, strategies to running effective groups, advanced facilitator techniques, and dealing with challenging situations.
  • Overcoming Emotional Baggage for Small Groups: Facilitator Session Plan - This comprehensive session plan provides facilitators with detailed guidelines on how to run each of the fifteen group sessions in the Overcoming Emotional Baggage programme. This keeps facilitators preparation time to a minimum. NB: All eWoman Group facilitators are required to use this resource to run the Overcoming Emotional Baggage programme.

All facilitator resources, toolkits and books can be purchased at our online product store here.
