Volunteer eWoman Group Facilitator Training - Northamptonshire Region
Owing to the large interest in running eWoman Groups, we will be running regional training events for our volunteer facilitators. The first will be in Northamptonshire. To attend, volunteers will be women who live and/or work in Northamptonshire who:
- Have some experience in one or more of the following: training, coaching, mentoring, facilitating or running groups*
- Have some experience working with women and/or groups (even on a voluntary basis)
- Are not currently running a group
- Who are not working for an organisation that runs women's groups**
- Are passionate about the wellbeing and development of women
All volunteer facilitators must be committed to our cause (i.e. promoting the wellbeing and development of women). Also, they must be willing to start and manage their own eWoman Group consisting of between 8-10 women. The frequency of meetings will depend entirely on the group. Training will take place in Oct/Nov 2009 on a Saturday (date, time and venue to be confirmed). All materials will be provided however all volunteers will be expected to have read the book, Overcoming Emotional Baggage: A Woman’s Guide To Living The Abundant Life (by Gladys Famoriyo) before attending the training events. Click here to get a copy. It is important that all attendees are familiar with the contents of the book before attending. This will enable us to effectively utilise our training session and (more importantly) support volunteers in maintaining their own personal wellbeing.
The training session will cover various topics that will support volunteers in running effective eWoman Groups based on the book, Overcoming Emotional Baggage. Facilitator resources would also be provided. To register your interest, please complete the registration form and return to us as soon as possible. As we have had a large interest about eWoman Groups, we will be operating on a first come, first served basis. So please register early to avoid disappointment. IMPORTANT: Please note that this project is being funded wholly by Gladys Famoriyo in association with her organisations, Success Partners LTD and eWoman Enterprises LTD. This project is not currently funded by grants, donations, gift aid, etc. Hence, we would appreciate only committed and passionate volunteers to join us in our campaign to positively impact the lives of women, promote their emotional wellbeing and their personal development. Based on the book, Overcoming Emotional Baggage and her concept of the modern day Female Hybrid, Gladys Famoriyo will be running a life-changing 3-part tele-workshop.
